Deon Wiggett is an accomplished creative director in South Africa. In late 2017, an unexpected and traumatic event turned his life upside down.
While dealing with the emotional fallout in the months that followed, memories from much, much longer ago also started surfacing: memories that, once probed and fully explored, led to a dark series of events from his teenage years.
Recollection led to research, and soon he realised there was far more to his story than just his own experiences. Cue My Only Story, a narrative, four-part true-crime podcast debuting in South Africa in November 2019.
From November 7, weekly episodes will track Deon as he travels across South Africa to meet people, dig through archives and compile evidence in his search for justice.
